Standard Ammo Check Still in Progress

I ran a standard ammo check on a CCW holder that has been at his address for decades at 5:53 PM. He is still listed as "INPROGRESS" now at 6:35 PM. All my previous denials have been instant if he didn't have the correct address or didn't have a gun in the system. All my previous approvals have been instant. Obviously this wasn't instant. Anyone else?

I do believe DOJ has slipped behind the DMV in providing abhorrent customer service or just flat doing their jobs.

I never that any agency could slip that low.

DES shuts down and goes home at 11PM so it doesn't turn into a pumpkin.

So before I hit submit on this response, I went and checked again. Get a load of this nonsense. He was approved at 6:55 PM. However, his standard check expires at 12:55 PM tomorrow. I am only open 4-6 PM. Basically they delayed the approval for an hour on a standard check, no way is he going to wait that long, then they release it but give him less than 24 hours to return and pick up? How is this even remotely fair? Check this out just in case you do not believe me.

Nope most have been instant or a few minutes at most for me. You could try calling the DES hotline tomorrow when they open and see if you can get a $1 credit, but that doesn't sound like it would be a very productive use of time.

Ran two standard ammo checks before 4:23 PM today. Tried another at 5:11 PM. He is still in progress. Anyone else?

So I started the instant standard check at 5:11 PM and it was not approved until 5:50 PM. The stupid thing is it says it expires tomorrow at 11:50 AM. This is unacceptable. I won't be open until 4 PM again. If they do not immediately release on a Standard check they should give people 30 days like the basic check. 24 to 48 hours at a minimum.

Happened to us yesterday at 5:30. No other problems all day

it happened to us again last night two.
Ran at 5....customer waited 30 minutes and left approved at 5:50. Customer could not come back buy the 11AM pick up cut off.

I got a DENY/REJECT back instantaneously...not surprising.
