i want to ship a rifle from northern to southern california in order to complete a sale. what would best way to do this be? can i just ship using fedex or ups to the persons ffl?

You can use UPS or US Mail. If going US Mail, use the Parcel Post option. It's cheaper. UPS Ground will usually run $20-25 with insurance depending on destination, but will offer play by play tracking, which people like. -
