DOJ verifying credentials

Anyone else receive a call from DOJ looking to verify a customers LE credentials? I used the X31 exemption to the FSC since the person is LE and just had DOJ call asking me to send over the proof of that exemption. She stated they are now doing random checks on these exemptions and that I could receive more calls.

Interesting since the person she called about has been buying firearms from me for many years and is now a part time sales guy for me.

Nope, your employee might be flipping guns or it might of been flagged if he was running his own DROS's as suspicious since he is exempt from the Roster.

I know he is not flipping guns since he has not bought a new firearm in a while, but maybe you are right that since he was running his own DROS's on used guns he was buying it came up as suspicious.
