Firearm retrival

What do or would you guys charge to retrieve firearms that are in the custody of law enforcement?

Ive already done the retrieval and I was able to do it with 2 phone calls and one trip.

In this case it's for an estate and they have been unsuccessful at retrieving them. Both on their own and another FFL was unable to get it done.

If it make any difference it was 3 guns.

Any costs you incurred and charge for your time unless they consign them to you for sale then give them a break. Good customer relations.

What was it worth to you to do it?

You need to consider all of your time and effort, including mileage. As said, if you get to sell them or buy them, then it can be discounted. When you were picking up the firearms, you couldn't be doing other things making money.

I have done this a few times in the past and I charge $100 per gun if they are to be transferred to someone, plus a minimum of $100 to go pick them up. If I end up buying the guns, I waive everything and pay the negotiated price.
