Selling a firearm overseas - need help

Sometimes the high price paid for an item reflects the fact that it is already present and cleared for sale in the market where said price is paid. Especially so if the door is closed to further import/manufacture etc.
So do your research, be sure that importation to the market you are seeing these prices being paid is even possible and that export from the US to that market is possible. It stands to reason that if it was easy, cheap, and possible - the price they are selling for wouldn’t be so high.
Good luck. -

A plain Jane Colt Railgun with very basic laser engraving in the white, and a challenge coin. The laser engraving could be easily replicated.
Who would pay $15k for one of these? I guess if you can find a South Korean with too much money and some connections in the arms import business - no one will fault you for taking the cash, certainly not me!
I get the feeling OP has already found this video, but for those who are curious...

The problem is that you can't really check for each and every country that you might be able to export to. What you can do is to advertise it and say that it is up to the buyer to arrange for shipping and all aspects to exporting it, no refunds, paid up front in secure funds. Don't make it your problem as you will lose.
I know of a company that I believe does import/export, or at least used to, but I think that your contacting them at this point in time would just be wasting their time. If you get to a point where you have a buyer, then let me know and you can contact them.Kemasa.

A German friend of mine was living here on a green card and acquired a good number of firearms before he eventually moved back home. I sold off all of his guns for him except a Wilson Combat CQB that he was particularly fond of. We went through some guy in Colorado and it ended up being close to $1500 on this end for his services, then several hundred more Euro on his end. It also had to go to a proof house and be proof tested and stamped. In the end he could have bought a new one there for less after the proceeds of selling the one he had here, but he wanted "that" gun.
Unless you've got a solid buyer already, selling overseas could be a real hassle. That said, you could list it somewhere like egun.de at an astronomical price and see if someone bites....Greg David
