Ya gotta love this state and the idiots that run...make that ruin...it!

So, now it is ironic that the State whittles away at the right of its citizens to defend themselves from the possible oppression of their State.

True that. But don't forget that was California VOTERS that were sold this bill of nonsense and actually voted it into law. Prop 65 created what has to be one of the most useless bureaucracies in the history of this country. A complete and utter waste of time and resources.

The real punchline though, is have you ever actually heard of enforcement action being taken?

      I sure haven't.

As far as enforcement action. I have a good customer that has a supliment company. He was sued by some random lawyer on behalf of consumers because his packaging was not compliant. He eventually won because he had 8 employees.

FYI, I tried sending some stripped lowers from Palmetto State Armory to my local FFL (they're on the approved list of FFLs PSA works with).

Alas, PSA sent this email (I was cc'd):

              From: Compliance <compliance@palmettostatearmory.com>
              Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2019 05:22
              To: rod@thegunrange.bizCompliance@PalmettoStateArmory.com

or to our fax machine at 803 788 7979.

We will keep this disclaimer on file for future reference.

This order is currently on hold and will be cancelled and refunded if not resolved within 30 days of the order date.

              Thank you!

              Best regards,

Rod faxed FFL information but refused to sign any waivers. We'll see what PSA says...?

The way I read it 10 or less employees are exempt unless the business has some contract or agreement with a larger company or agency.
Hypothetical.. If my business sells products to LAPD responding to bids or receiving purchase orders and agreeing to their terms (including prop 65 disclosure) then we have to provide the proper prop 65 disclosure etc.

I have a call into our attorney to gain his legal opinion on this too.

The enforcement action is up to the public, like ADA violations.. meaning that attorneys will make a career of this.
If you look at the Marin county court public index, Search balkamp.... search genuine parts corporation.... there was two lawsuits a few months ago, both having law firms as the plaintiffs.

It will increase the cost of CA ammo. This is why I bring my ammo back from AZ when I visit. Of course now I'll be easier to catch. My ammo won't have the warning on it.

You could buy those Prop 65 stickers and slap them on your purchases.

Might save a bit of aggravation in the long run.
