big 5 call first for dros or pickup

I did a dros at Gendale big 5 went smooth and was warned I was lucky personnel were on hand to do dros. I forgot to call and went today for pickup. Would have had to wait couple hours. I will go back in next couple days. Takes 2 people that are cleared. My bad. I did dros pickup at Canoga Park big 5 yesterday and only one person required for transaction there.

Retail...want ya gonna do. I have noticed that some locations are either confused, ignorant or have local ordinances which changes things. For example; Glendale is its own city. Not LA City. While Canoga Park is part of LA City, I believe. The city of LA has a rule that you cannot sell ammo the two weeks before New Years, while Glendale may not.

But not sure about DROS requirements, I thought those are at the State and/or federal level. But maybe local store is training someone and has that in place for the time being.

I have done several dros at big 5. Never an issue. No big crowds or waiting hours after getting number like at Turners. Computerized 4473 easy to fill out and edit. Bought hevishot ammo cheap it is on closeout.
