    dros status after 10 days

    hi ffl's,
    newbie here. my 10 day wait has finally ended today! unfortunately, the gun shop is closed today. if i provide the dros number, will anyone be able to access the system to let me know if it's approved or delayed? thanks in advance!

            Only the FFL and the CA DOJ has access to the information and the CA DOJ won't say anything to you as they don't know who you are when you call. You will have to wait until the FFL opens to find out the status.

                I’ll chime in and say this also. We have had our share of delays and denials where we call the customer and they don’t answer or their voicemail is full or they don’t listen to our message and come in anyhow.

                So that being said. It’s probably a good idea to call first if you are questioning whether or not you would be approved. If you are for sure you are not prohibited then just show up or if you’re gun store is close by.

                  Only the FFL that performed the DROS will be able to see your approved/denied status. Other FFL's can not see what they did not DROS.
