If the gun has a different SKU than what's on the Roster then there will be a problem.

I have a Springfield EMP. It comes with cocobolo grips or G10 grips but is otherwise identical. The G10 grip version is not on the roster.

Pistols that come in a blued vs stainless generally also have separate roster listings.

There are no SKUs listed on the roster for Baer. Only minimalist descriptions.

The Baer listings are pretty ambiguous. Hard to know from looking at the roster alone if FCS should/should not be there, ambi safety or single side, trigger weight, finish color etc.

Les Baer confirmed, all Ca approved are blue - guess I'm back to ppt off roster pricing...

That is not entirely true. Les Baer does have a S.R.P. and Super Tac in the DuPont S finish, which is black. Black or blued, no stainless finished pistols.

Just depends on what your FFL is comfortable with TBH.

No, it depends on whether the law is followed or not. It has to be an exact match with the list, not what you can get away with.

the manufacture cannot change what is already on the roster. if the FFL sending it happens to change it then it is still fine to have her in ca since the change did not come from the manufacturer

Not true.... i hope you aren't accepting pistols like that.

ETA: If what you're saying is true then any out of state FFL/private person can add a semi-auto upper to a Franklin Armory CA7 with a mag lock and sell them to CA. Would you accept that and DROS it as the on-roster version?

BTW: that's just one example that should be obviously a no-go

If you're dealing with 1911Heaven (Crazy John), call and ask. He's a great guy and sells a ton of LB to California. I got my custom Premier II from him. He could probably tell you. He doesn't like to deal with email, only once you've confirmed an order. And he'll likely talk your ear off!
