I want to have an FFL.
To start, I think an FFL03C&R will be the most efficient when it comes to cost and time. I know that a COE is required before CA will fully recognize the FLL03C&R. Eventually, I wish to have either an FFL01, 06, 07, or any combination of those. I have read the stickies and utilized the search function before posting this....
My question regarding the COE is, should I check boxes "Firearms Dealer" and "Gunsmith" for the "Business Type" section in the COE application? My intent is to eventually conduct business in these fields, but at the time, the FFL03C&R is the only thing within my budget, considering the state business licenses I need to acquire for the other FFLs. I thought getting approved in these areas before applying for the respective FFLs will save me from having to send in another application and paying another fee.
