FFL Transfers

Hello,

What is a fair price for an FFL to FFL transfer? I want to buy a 700 action in stock at an out of state dealer. All local shops want $80.00 + DORS seems a bit high to me.

No such thing as a "fair" price IMO. The area and market dictate that. In S. CA, I pay $70 total for DROS and transfer. Your price seems a little higher.

At Vandenberg's Rod & Gun Club we charge $25.00 for DROS if you purchase the firearm from us. If you purchase the firearm from anywhere else there is an additional charge of $25.00 for use of our FFL.

Only problem is we are a membership club open to active duty/retired military and federal employees.

My Fee in the Sacramento Area is $35 for transfer and $25 for DROS. $60 total. I am looking to build a customer base so a lower fee is well worth the effort spent.

He charges $45 transfer plus $25 for DROS. I believe that additional transfers on the same DROS are $20.
So, if you buy two long guns at the same time, you pay $90.

Cash Loan Inc. in South San Francisco charges $80 total including DROS. They don't do OLL stuff though.

In the south bay . . . go to Roger's Relics in Santa Clara. For one long gun, $65 including DROS.

It is illegal to charge more than $35.00 total for a PPT. Go get your $10 back or use word of mouth advertising against the perp. I always like the PPT's because I sell other things including (future services)when transfering. So $10. + DROS is fine for PPT's
