    Ammo question for FFL

Can anyone tell me the laws on ordering ammo online and shipping to a FFL/Ammo dealer? Does the purchase quantity matter or can I order say 1000 rounds then pick it after up paying dealer fees?

    Thank you in advance!

You have to ask the dealer what their fees are. Each place is different and all might not accept online shipments.

Thanks for your response. Maybe I wasn’t clear. My question is how much can one order and pick up at a time?

The only limit (if any) would be imposed by the receiving dealer, so it would be best to ask them directly. For example, so dealers charge a flat $10 fee + applicable taxes to receive and ammo order. However, I imagine that might not be the case if it's a pallet.

If you are going to be ordering in bulk, get yourself a COE and 03FFL.
Then use online retailers who will ship direct to you.

For example we are $15 for orders under 10,000 rounds or $1000 in purchase price. If your invoice is going to be more than $1000 or 10,000 rounds we ask you make special arrangement's and we will quote a transfer price based on what you're doing.
