    FFL in San Francisco

    hey Calgun;

    looking for recommendations for a reasonable priced FFL in San Francisco; preferably in North Beach or surrounding area. just looking at ordering a 10-22 receiver and need someplace with a reasonable transfer fee (around $35).

    thanks in advance!

    best,
    Doc

        And if there were, you can bet the transfer fee would be minimum $100

          This may be pedantic, but there's a guy who has a Gunsmithing business out of his house in the excelsior and maintains an ffl and bonham and Butterfields auction house maintains an ffl license.

          OP, your best bet is UG Imports in Fremont. $50, extremely quick, well organized process, and a great calgunner to boot.

              Just take the bart to Fremont. If you want a gun in SF, you got to leave to get your receiver.

                        There are no longer any gun stores in San Francisco.
                        Highly doubt there are any FFL's left in San Francisco proper.

                        San Francisco enacted a specific tax only effecting the FFL's in the city and the last gun store High Bridge Arms closed up and they were only dealing with exporting.
