Opening an Out of State Branch Store

I'm an FFL in California licensed to operate out of my home.

I own a second home out of state where I am considered a "seasonal resident." I am considering opening a home based FFL business there as a branch. Has anyone opened a branch store? Thanks.

Yep, we asked our ATF Investigative Officer about this during the interview, and they said you need to apply for an additional FFL, and anything else the municipalities require.

One thing to consider is that you need to be able to response in a timely manner if there is a trace request. You might want to have access to a copy of the records if you are not there all the time.
