CFARS...password reset problem

I've been trying to change my password in CFARS. Initiating the reset request I get a LOOONG URL that is not recognized by the CFARS reset screen.
Anybody have any idea what part of:

https://cfars.doj.ca.gov/resetPassword.do?token=Vd3uh7ZLd65268r18919

prompts the reset function???

Once you login there is password change link, or did you forget your password?

Password expired and I need to reset a new one. That link I was given doesn't seem to work. I thought maybe there was too many characters in it.

I change the password on all the numerous accounts every month to avoid such problems. It is annoying. Too bad we can't have just one account that does everything, it isn't like it is actually separate servers.

One thing I have seen is that mail readers sometimes breaks up the line, but it is all needed since it is encoded.

Call the firearms safety certificate number takes you to a real person. They were able to help reset my CFARs password. Also CFARS does not like edge for some reason.

Use Chrome, never had a problem resetting my CFARS password. You need the whole URL. Are you clicking the link directly from email? What *exactly* do you see on the screen when you click the link?

When I click your link I see the token has expired. You need to do another password reset request.

Finally send a copy to my mail...was able to separate the URL from that which highlighted the URL in blue...from there was able to enter sight successfully...!
