1 in 30 Question

My father who is out of state gifted my a gun which was sent to a dealer (FFL) and DROSed. From what I read, this counts as a 1 in 30 because it was shipped from out of state to and DROSed through a dealer.

Can I purchase from a private party, face to face during the 30 days wait or do I need to wait?

I found a good deal on Cal guns but I pass on it if needed. Don't want to break the 1 in 30 rule.

You can do a PPT except not in the city of LA.

LA city has 1 in 30 for all handgun transactions.
