    Quick PTT question

Can I transfer an AR15 without the stock? It'll have the bullet button, muzzle brake and shark fin wrap but no stock. Also, what documents do I have to bring.
Sorry for the basic questions. I'm pretty new with this and want to make it sure I've got everything covered for a painless transaction. Thanks!

Call the FFL first that you want to use and see how they want you to proceed. That is always easier.

Better question, why don't you just transfer the receiver and give the other parts to your buyer.

That would be the easiest thing to do. Can I transfer a receiver with an adjustable stock? I'll also call the shop and ask. Thanks for the help!

Yes, its just a receiver, therefore not semi-automatic nor centerfire, thus it can not be a so called assault weapon.

Much appreciated Acespawnshop! I'm transferring it to a buddy. He can deal with getting the stock locking pin installed . I'm having a hell of a time doing it.

Yep, what did the guy say on the Hangover, NOT MY PRAH-BLEM! Let your homie worry about making it compliant.
