Yes. It could even be an 07FFL. The type of FFL that the dealer holds doesn't matter as long as they are a licensed CA firearms dealer.

There is only one DROS fee for any number of DROS submitted at the same time. As long as you don't drop out, you can keep submitting, which means everything needs to be ready to go. It is be a combination of any types of transfers. One warning though, the dealer has has to be careful in regards to HSC/FSC exemptions. For example, if you start with a rifle and use a hunting license exemption, that doesn;t work for handguns, so then submitting a handgun can cause a problem and not be able to go forward.

I've used these folks for quite a few longguns and handguns, C&R and not. We've got it fairly well under control. So far when doing a multi they have all come from the same source out of state. It was just the different sources that got me to question. Hey if a guy can save a few bucks... :-) They've already received a lever action, and I have a SA coming. I figured if the answer to my first question was a 'no' I'd start the DROS on the Lever. Now they're keeping in the safe and we'll do them at the same time. Thanks again for the help...

The source doesn't matter. It is best to limit what money you give the state since they basically stole the DROS money and the fee should be reduced.

You should clarify costs with the FFL you use. First, hopefully he understands "Submit Another Transaction For condor" results in a $0 fee for the subsequent DROS('s). Second, what is his fee schedule? I have known FFL's to be "$60 per gun" and others "$100 for the first gun, $10 for each additional gun DROS'd at the same time." There is no law governing this, so it varies widely.

My FFL charges $55 bucks for the first and $10 bucks for the second, third, etc. Same schedule on a PPT only starting at $35... The saving would be the only reason for asking about a mixed source on 2 guns. I've done several from the same source without a problem... Otherwise I would have just gone ahead and started the one they're already holding for me.... Never hurts to ask... :-)

I do feel sorry for folks that are getting raped by their FFL's.

There is also the $25 for the DROS. If you do it all at once, there is only one fee, otherwise you have to pay again.

With the folks I use, it's part of the $55 bucks. I don't want anyone to think it's $25 + the $55... That's why I like to do multiples if I can help it.... :-) And I don't regret paying the extra $10 for each of the extra guns. There's added paper work and online time that the dealer has to go thru..... Besides like Kemasa sez, I'd rather keep the $25 in my pocket... :-)
