I am not worried roster or 1 in 30. I was asking about if a person sells/trades handguns to a CA FFL , does that count against 5 or less PPT's per calendar year ?

You got me. I have never heard about how that law works, how its enforced. I know its on the books, but never heard of it coming up. I see the same sellers all the time.

What does a PPT have to do with ATF stating that you are limited to a certain amount of sales in a year?

A sale to a gun store is not different than a sale to a non licensned individual.

CA has limits as well.

It might count since the FFL would need to acquire it and that would get recorded. It is different since it would be for inventory and no DROS is done.
