I might be buying 3 guns total via PPT from 2 different sellers. Can all three go on 1 DROS if I can schedule both of the sellers to show up around the same time? How much will the total fees be? $55 ($25+ 10 + 10 + 10). All 3 guns are pistols. Thank you.

Multi gun PPT on 1 DROS?

Yes you can. One $25 DROS fee + $10 per PPT gun. -
ONE DROS FEE!!!!
Technically, every single firearm goes on its own DROS, no matter if it is one seller, a dealer seller, a hundred guns, whatever. But that is of no concern to you.
What you want to know is this: WILL THERE BE ONE DROS FEE.
The answer is YES. It does not matter how many sellers show up. I have done three different sellers on a single fee.Comment

$25 plus 10$ per extra firearm. Lots of posts on this. Plan on buying or bringing 3 cable locksComment

This is the key word "IF" should one of your sellers be late or whatever I'm not going to sit around and wait, I would move on to the next project and when your other guy gets here we would start the 2nd or 3rd DROS. If you have to pay again that's tough but that's why you need to coordinate well with BOTH your sellers. Make sure they are both there if the $25 is that important to you.Interstate Transfers $100 (DROS included with the price)

Thank you. FYI, most of you were correct. 1 DROS fee. I did not realize both sellers had to be there at the same time so I scheduled them 30 minutes apart, when I got there, I learned both had to be there to do 1 DROS. It was only fair for me to offer seller #1 part of my DROS savings and he agreed. We actually had a good conversation. Seller #2 came and it was smooth. Well, the FFL tried to charge $20/DROS and I told him it was 10. He did some digging, and then saw it was $10. He is known to be anti PPT...but he was a good guy too. Total cost $55 with FFL +$15 to Seller #1.Comment

I don't understand why you had to give the seller your "savings" unless you negotiated the price to include DROS fees. DROS fees are on the buyer and wholly separate from your exchange.
I will mirror the others in stating that I will not wait for you to get your ducks in a row. FFL's are under no obligation to submit them all on the same 4473 and process with one DROS fee plus the per firearm fee. FFL's do so out of courtesy, but only if you are courteous to begin with.Comment

That can be avoided if you use a DROS worksheet, but using a DROS worksheet means manually entering all of the CA ID/DL information, which is a pain and you have to be more careful to not make a mistake. This is the key word "IF" should one of your sellers be late or whatever I'm not going to sit around and wait, I would move on to the next project and when your other guy gets here we would start the 2nd or 3rd DROS. The DROS timeout means that you can't wait long and personally I don't trust it at all unless it is all done right after another.Kemasa.

I think it was a bribe to get the person to wait until the second person showed up. Personally, I would rather pay a person the money than CA.Kemasa.

I personally hate doing entry into the DES without the customer being present to check the dros preview before I submit. That way if there is anything incorrect and we have to cancel I can say. Well you told me all your information was correct. Especially when using the card reader. Those things are worthless if you ask me. I have to go in and delete stuff more often that it's right. Now that doesn't mean we don't use the dros worksheet. I just hate having to do so.Interstate Transfers $100 (DROS included with the price)
