Semi Auto Single Shot Shotgun

I am curious as what the best way to transfer a semi auto magazine shotgun with today's regulations. I know AK style shotguns with bullet buttons are now a no go. So would a Semi Auto Ak shotgun with gas puck removed and no bullet button be legal for transfer? Just trying to add a Saiga 410 to the collection and do it legally.

With the gas piston removed and the gas plug blocked, the firearm would be considered a manually operated(straight pull bolt-action) shotgun.

It is CA legal for a manually operated shotgun to use detachable magazines, have a pistol grip and a folding/extending shoulder stock.
^Only requirements is minimum barrel length of 18" and minimum overall length of 26".
