    SF Bay Area ammo PPT

Any FFLs in SF Bay Area, specifically east bay that will do a private party ammo sale?

Solar Tactical and JR Sports in Livermore won't do them.

Does the new law require all of them that sell ammo to handle transfers? I know they can charge $5 for a FTF transfer.

I don't know if the law can actually require someone to perform a business transaction; after all, this is not Obamacare-level stuff.

$5 seems to be a very low fee for the amount of time and work required on the part of the FFL, and it's not unreasonable that some may refuse to do it. If you find one willing, think of the work as goodwill and maybe buy something from their shop and/or direct some of your future business to them.

            Nope.

Unlike firearms transfers, there is no legal requirement that a FFL/licensed ammo vendor must facilitate a transfer of ammunition between private parties.

We can do them. Right now it's easy. You come in and we watch you hand the ammo to the other person. In fact we will never touch the ammo. Please schedule an appointment sales@ugimports.com
