Forms/Notifications for multiple PPT hangun transfer

I called my local 01 and asked if he would do a multiple (3) handgun PPT and he said he'd never done one before and didn't know which extra forms to fill out or who to notify. I'm rural and have no other options unfortunately. He said he'd do it for me if I brought in whatever forms and explained the process on how to get it done. I'm an 07 and don't know all the crap you 01's have to put up with in the DROS system. I've spent the last 45 min online trying to figure it out to no avail. Anybody want to hold my hand and explain the process and link the forms so i don't have to do one handgun every seven days?
    Thanks in advance.

Do you have a CFD and DES account?

Is your FFL as a sole proprietor or something else?

From what I can see, it appears that since your license has your name on it that you are a sole proprietor. I don't know if you are considered an exempt FFL, such as a gunsmith who does not do transfers, so I don't know if you can submit a DROS yourself or not.

But since it appears that you are a sole proprietor, it means that the license is in your name and no multiple acquisition form is needed, just your FFL to show that you are a licensee. This also means no 4473. You do have to log the firearms into your bound book though, then out to yourself, even though the other dealer does the DROS (Federal issue vs. state).

I am an exempt dealer, so as I understand it I'm not exempt from the DROS?

No one is exempt from the DROS, other than intrafamilial transfers, etc.

But as a licensee, you are exempt from the multiple firearm reporting, even if you are not doing it yourself.

                  Yes, no 4473 either.
