I submitted an issue with the CA DOJ and so far I am getting nowhere with them. My email domain name has a "-" in it, which does not work with the CFARS web site. Imagine that, a valid domain name is unacceptable to them. Kind of funny that a "@" is acceptable, which is a special character, as well as a ".".
I wonder if any of the firearms lawyers would like to have some fun with this.
DOJ Response (01/09/2018 11:56 AM): Unfortunately, CFARS only allows you to use alpha and numeric characters. CFARS will not accept an application with any special characters.

at his desk and is hostile
towards any change to "his program". . . . .we get what we get. Seems to be a very poor example of a system/program where the stakeholders are never consulted and essentially force-fed a substandard system. Anybody remember a couple of years ago when we crash tested the live long gun registration system??? The bureaucracy is alive and well in this one. . . . .
