I just picked up a pistol from my LGS, who's a good guy and usually very diligent. When I picked up the pistol he gave me a copy of the "approved" DROS for my records.
Last night I was filing it and glanced at the info, and everything is correct on it EXCEPT my height and eye color. It had me like a foot shorter than I actually am, with blue eyes instead of brown. Another guy was buying a gun at the same time and it looks like the dealer got his info mixed.
Everything else was correct, name, address, phone, CDL, weight, all the pistol details, just those two things. The shop is only open a few days a week, so they don't know yet.
I have the gun, so am set on my end, but don't want the dealer to get in trouble later for a nit. How important is that info? All the important stuff as far as name and ID is correct.
Thanks for any guidance.
