    Rifle stuck in limbo

So I had a gentleman sent me a gun from out of CA in a trade. The gunstore he went with did not send a CA shipping approval letter so I called them up and asked them to submit the paperwork, this was back in December. They had faxed it to CA DOJ and still haven't gotten the approval so my gun is just stuck. I have followed up with them and they say they haven't gotten anything yet, most people say it only takes a week to do. What can I do? It has been a mess and I am starting to get worried and annoyed.

Make/ model? On roster? Did you already send your trade out of state? Did you receive any indication his rifle actually made it to the shop?

Ruger precision rifle. Gun has been sent still in contact with the guys. I have seen the gun in CA still at the CA store have been waiting over a month for them to approve the shipment form that should have been submitted

Why would they fax it. Call the sending shop and walk them through the online setup. They will get approval immediately

Yes, it should be done online. It is easy, although annoying.

It has been resolved, the gun was in CA the FFL in MO was not answering anymore every time I had asked him to resubmit the work he would blow it off. Come to find out apparently he's going out of business (no surprise). Well i start my ten day waiting period now thanks for all the help!
