This is not really FFL, but I would guess that some FFL also do BSIS training or have someone on site who does. I am asking here because BSIS doesn't answer their phone.
The code states that an instructor must: "Possess a police or security firearms instructor training certificate issued by the National Rifle Association or a firearms instructor training certificate issued by a federal, state, or local agency."
I hold a DOJ Certified Instructor permit, which is a "firearms instructor training certificate issued by a state agency." Has anyone applied to BSIS using this and was it accepted or rejected?
Thanks!
