    FSC Test

    Real quick before I have to go look it up. If a customer fails the FSC 3 times can they retake the test using version 1 again? They would have failed all 3 test versions at this point.

    Note: he passed the third time. 25/30 but still I'm curious what the rule would be for it. Oh and before it gets mentioned yes, he had to wait 24 hours before retaking.

      Page 8 of the manual just says that they can take a different version of the test after 24 hours for free, one free retest. I don't see that it prevents them from paying to take the same test. It also does not say that they can't pay to take the test right away, but it seems to imply that aspect.

      The real question if the person fails twice, do you really want to transfer a firearm to them?

          In this case he tried on the 20th failed, tried on the 22nd failed, came in today charged another $25 and he passed. We had the conversation sorta about that Kemasa, but honestly who are we to say who can and cant own a gun? Maybe dude is just a bad test taker. Maybe he doesn't read well, maybe maybe maybe, if he passes his NICS check and can properly complete a 4473 who are we to say he should be ineligible based on a poor performance on a BS quiz the DOJ made up. We all know the FSC wont do anything to help stop people injuring themselves with a gun. By the same logic should one who fails their drivers written test twice not be allowed to drive?

              Maybe DOJ didn't address the "third" attempt cause they figured anyone who didn't pass it twice probably shouldn't have a gun... Just say'n..

                  People can buy a firearm from any dealer, so the question is whether you want to deal with a certain customer. It is not about saying who can or can't own a gun, just whether you want your business associated with it. The test is not all that difficult, even with some of the stupid non-safety questions.

                  In some cases you have to wonder if you are going to end up with the media at your door asking questions and blaming you.
