    Shipping Guns Sold on CG

This question is directed to California FFLs...

If I sell an on-list handgun or a rifle to a buyer within the state and wish to ship the gun to buyers FFL how do I protect myself with regard to the gun being taken out of my name? What other considerations are there?

What about selling a firearm out of state?

I understand off list firearms cannot be shipped within the state but can be shipped out of the state?

    Much thanks for your time

You can fill out the no longer in possession of form with the BOF. But that really doesn't help much with regards to the AFS. They don't take guns out of it but this will show it was registered to somebody else more recently than when it was to you.
