Should I have issues selling a firearm to a blind customer?

Anyone ever run into this situation. Blind customer wants to purchase a firearm for self protection. . . . . .

    Sell it to him?

I don't know the answer to your question but if you don't sell him the firearm isn't there a possible issue with the protection of the rights of the disabled?

Just look at Misha from Ozark Bear Arms. His collection is got some great firearms.

I love when he reviews a rifle with a scope on it and is always like "scopes aren't really my thing"
And as said above denying a sale based on a disability can get you in a lot of trouble.

Safe handling demonstration should pretty much cover it.

Is the customer interested in .338LM or .416Cheytac?

I know there are issues with selling to a mentally disabled person, but physically disabled? Is that even covered? And what degree of blindness would bar them from ownership?

I have sold many guns to a blind customer. He was very involved in SAS shooting out here. He was 100% blind and always had his father with him. They would put a bell on the target when he was shooting and he aimed via sound. I went to watch him shoot one day and was impressed with how accurate and fast he was.
He was unable to fill out a 4473 so his dad would and then we would direct him where to sign. He was able to do the demos without issue once he got a feel for the gun.
He changed my views on who I thought was able to shoot and who was too disabled to.

Incoming fire has the right of way.

Reading this post reminds me of the movie "Blind Fury" starring Rutger Hauer.

I've got two blind customers. Both can sign on the dotted line, if they get it within a few inches of their face, but for all intents and purposes, 99% blind. don't know if either of them shoot, but they enjoy collecting guns.

On a horrible note, I had a customer get blinded. He sold all his guns immediately.
