Gift from CA to WA

I hope this question is in the right forum.

I've read multiple threads about out of state parents or grandparents gifting firearms to sons, daughters, etc living in CA. Those transactions are from out of state into CA.

I want to do the opposite. I live here in CA and I want to gift my sister a handgun, she lives in WA.
Any paperwork needed?
Can I ship it directly to her?
Anything else I need to know?

You live in CA. Receiver lives in WA. Interstate transfer, CA --> WA, must go through FFL in WA.

Contact her favorite WA FFL and see what they want.
