Bay area FFL that will receive pistol frame only?

I want to order a few stripped handgun frames like Glocks and Sig's that are stripped frames or complete lowers but many FFL locations around Santa Clara won't receive incomplete firearms. Are their any that can or do I need to call every FFL dealer in around here in California?

Nope, if I was life would be easier in the gun buying world. I'll have to go with option 2 on this one.

There are no incomplete handguns on the handgun roster. So the transfer must be roster exempt, and that means you are LE or you are doing a PPT, or you are gifted the frame by direct family out of state.

Even a brand new Glock 19 Gen 3 becomes an off roster gun when you simply remove the slide and try to sell the frame only. If it is not DROSd in the roster tested configuration, it is not the roster gun anymore.

I'm looking at complete lowers as I have slides ready for them so the guy said if need be ship him the slides so he can attach them and ship as a complete gun but then tax on sales come into play... I'll have to see if its worth it in the end.

Probably going to run into the roster issue even if you put slides on the lowers.

I have a Zev slides i want put on to a G19 and G17, if i ship to them and he installs will it no longer be a Glock 19 Gen3 per roster?

Darn so from what I gather from LeadFarmer and you is even if I send a factory stock slide if the numbers don't match it's a no go? I have to just buy one new strip it out and sell the parts on Ebay it looks.

We are one of that largest ZEV stocking dealers in the bay area

We have to explain this all the time

Cust: I want a ZEV g17! Can you order me one?

US: YES! well sort of.

Cust: ???

US: You buy the G17 from us wait your 10 days, come in and pick it up.

We then log it back in for gun smithing and can then send it to ZEV if you want grip work done or we can install any of the parts you want
