I used the SSE for the purchase of a DW valor in .45. I understand that in order to sell it, I need to essentially go through a pawn buy back to get it listed in the proper caliber. Is that correct? Can someone refer my to a good reputable place to get this done in the Corona area? Preferably a place that someone has worked with.

The only reason for a pawn return is to 're-paper' the firearm to non-SSE status in the AFS Database.
This is completely unnecessary for the seller in a CA PPT. The only reason that I've ever heard for doing it (the pawn return) is because some Issuing Agencies require the firearm being listed on a License to Carry application match the AFS record.
