Adding / Changing Caliber in DROS

Is it possible to add or correct the caliber of a pistol after a DROS is submitted? Some guns coming in are multi caliber with the second cal barrel, etc. included in the box.

If a client says after the fact that he/she would prefer the DROS to show the additional / second caliber instead of the one on the DROS (which was the way the gun was boxed) can the DROS be corrected?

Not sure, but click on Correct DROS and put in his DROS # -- see what fields they allow you to correct. If you don't see it there try submitting the manual paper form with the correction on it.

I've usually put it in the comments section. (edit: I'm referring to when you cant put the caliber info in the drop down menus 4 places to put it, like on a receiver that's stamped 9mm.)

It's funny..I don't know where the comments section goes (other then on the hard copy) -- we routinely copy the Hunting License info there for non-resident aliens...yet DOJ still calls me and asks what the Hunting License # and expiration date is.. I asked them once "Do you see in the comments where we type in that info?" and they said "no we don't see the comments.."

OMG you have to be kidding! That explains a lot then. We had one call a few days ago about the same hunting license info and Vince tells DOJ "do you want their GO ID number?" And they were like no, we need their hunting license information. Seriously? I wish I could work someplace where I know absolutely nothing about what I'm doing. Oh wait, I already do!
