    If you purchase while gun is still on 30 day hold,are you allowed to DROS
    it 10 days before the hold expires so you can pick it on the 30 day?

    From what I understand, yesm you can do that. You can DROS it before that, but it can not leave prior to 30 days. Also realize that there is some risk involved. If there is a problem, you would not be able to complete the transfer and may not get a refund for the DROS fee.

      I would say that you WOULD not get a refund.......Just my $.02

                Dealer. If you sold a firearm and it could not be transferred due to the firearm, why should the buyer be out anything when they were not at fault?
