Just checking, I just bought a new handgun from an FFL. Can I buy a new long gun in the next 30 days or do I have to wait? Just want to make sure since these BS laws are always changing. Thx

1 in 30 for handguns only from FFL.
You can buys a many long guns as you like at a FFL.
Also - PPT transfers do not count towards the 1-30 and you can purchase as many handguns/long guns as you can afford.Last edited by Andy9161; 02-20-2017, 5:04 PM.Originally posted by waterfern... Consider doubling up when you go through the DROS process. For example, when you DROSed that handgun you could have added the long gun you want to the same DROS and saved the processing fee.Benefactor Life Member, National Rifle Association

However, be advised a bill has been introduced for this session to make 1-in-30 apply to all guns, not just handguns as the law is now. See the 2A Politics and Laws forum.
We'll know how that goes about September. Brown vetoed a prior attempt.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
