I am interested in purchasing a used S&W Model 41 online from an out of state private party seller. This is not on the roster but is on the Olympic competition exemption list. Assuming it is clearly marked as a Model 41 and is shipped to an FFL, should this be fairly straightforward, or is anything I need to watch out for so I don't hit a snag with the FFL?

Of course, you are right, and I appreciate the advice. I will talk to my FFL. One of the problems is that my FFL actually is a high volume store, and the answers may depend on which particular person I am speaking with. But yes, I'll do this (multiple times, to compare answers).sigpicNRA Life Member / CRPA MemberComment
