Log it out from them to your book. If you are a CAL FFL you will need a CFLC.

The FFL transferring firearms to you needs to get CFLC approval regardless of whether they are shipped or hand delivered.

An in-state Calif FFL to another Calif FFL (both with full Ca licensing) still needs a CFLC?

Yes just did a ftf the other day still needs cflc. Anything coming in or moving around CA needs one. Leaving ca doesn't

To make it a bit more clear, anytime a firearm is shipped to a CA FFL from another FFL (other than C&R FFL), regardless of where that FFL is located, CA or not, needs a CFLC letter.

                          There is no unless.

It does not matter if it is FTF or anything else. If a CA FFL goes out of state and picks up a firearm from a FFL, the CFLC letter is still needed. At a gun show, on a train, on a plane, on a truck, the CFLC is still required.

I did not see anything in the OP about out-of-state, just FTF..

The issue of the CFLC came up, which if the FFL the firearm is being delivered to is not a CA FFL, then it does not apply. Then additional questions of the CFLC came up.
