It is past the time when BB endowed rifles may be DROSed, yet they are not AW for a few more days. It seems dealers holding such in inventory or in trust for delivery to a customer should be able to convert them to featureless if it is done before the end of the year.
I realize a special license is needed for gunsmithing AW, but until until Jan. 1 the rifles are not AW and if made featureless before Jan. 1, will never have been.
