FFL who refuses to ship firearms to CA

I received this message in regards to a customer who wanted to purchase some firearms from their business. By refusing to ship to CA, they are doing EXACTLY what ANTI-GUN people want them to do. Personally, I would not buy anything from them:

Unfortunately we do not ship any serialized items to California. If someone
reached out to you saying otherwise then I apologies for the confusion but
we will not be doing an FFL transfer to California.

Typical, they buy stuff made in China, Mexico and other third world countries but won't sell to fellow Americans. That says something...

We have somebody here who was going around and around with DSG. They won and he lost, we even said all this. CA is a huge gun market, and that all you are accomplishing by not selling is exactly what the anti-gunners want.

What is funny is that their web site, dsgarms.com, does not seem to be working. I think they were the one who had strange requirements in order to be a dealer for their products, especially claiming ethics.

We file huge lawsuits in CA

After seeing what exile machine and others went through when Feinstein sued them for legally selling parts to Ca.....

It's easy to say they should sell to ca

I understand how the starting legal bills of $100K can scare small shops away
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Look heres the thing too. Its still a mostly free country. If they don't want to do business in CA that's their choice. It's just sad that they are doing exactly what the politicians want. They want to make laws so impossible to understand that people just decide its easier to not do guns in CA and go away. That's straight out of page one in the liberal playbook.

I get phone calls daily from customers wanting to buy RRA items and have them shipped to me. But they won't ship them for the customer to CA if it's a serialized item.

That is why it is best to call them out on what they are doing. They are free to do what they want and with information, customers are free to decide if they want to do any business with them. Even if I was out of CA, I would not do business with them.

BTW, I got a response from them:

Unfortunately we cannot do FFL transfers to California because we are not
                  registered with the California DOJ.

I replied that was not really a valid excuse since it is easy and free :-).
