FFL with flexible hours around the holiday? SoCal (LA/OC)

Hi all!

I'm new to the forum and new to guns in general to be honest. I just made my first purchase a few weeks ago and looking to build another AR! I hope I'm posting this in the appropriate subforum.

There are a couple lowers in the classifieds that I am interested in and hope to buy, if still available, on Saturday. Desired FFL location would be LA, OC, or inbetween.

Here lies my problem, I travel for work and will be leaving out of town on Sunday (11th) and the earliest I would be able to return is the 23rd (for the holiday) and would leave again on the following Monday. I'm hoping to find someone that is open late on the 23rd or is open on the 24th. Perhaps even an individual that is FFL that is very flexible with hours for pick up.

I'd really like to be able to purchase one and be able to pick it up before the deadline. So if any of you have some suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!

Sorry for the long post, baggage backstory, and my noobness. Just wanted to hopefully be as clear as possible.

Couple things 1 if you want to purchase an AR-15 that's a bullet button style gun it needs to be picked up by you before 12-31-16 meaning you must DROS before the 21st.

If you are looking for just a receiver to build we have some in stock. If you are looking to make it featureless you can deliver post 2016 thus no rush.

So depending on what you are looking to do time is of the essence.

I thought I was thorough up there, but I neglected to leave out that it would be a Private Party Transfer (provided that the seller will still have it available when I come home this weekend).

I am just looking at purchasing a lower receiver to build upon. I especially keen on this particular one that a member is selling in the classifieds so I really want that one, but what do you have in stock/price?

My main concern is being able to purchase the receiver and pick it up within my eff'd up time table and before the 31st as you mentioned.

Basic run down I suppose of my needs:

Dec 10th
Transfer lower receiver (Retail purchase or PPT)

Dec 11th-23rd
I will be out of town. (also accounts for the 10 day wait)

Evening of Dec 23rd-25th
I should return home sometime the 23rd (unsure of time yet), I would like to be able to pick up evening of the 23rd or anytime the 24th. Heck I'd even pick up on Christmas day. lol

Dec 26th - 31st
I leave again the 26th and am scheduled to return the 31st.


The last portion (26-31st) is a coin flip as my schedule can change on the fly, could return sooner, or stay later.

So I hope that give a better illustration of my wants/needs. My job sucks, haha. I'm hoping there is someone that can work with that time table.
