Out of state transfer to Sacramento prices

Hey everyone....been a while....anyways, I'm looking for info about transfering a gun from an FFL in Florida to an FFL here in Sacramento. Obviously only looking to transfer guns that are legal here in CA, not anything NFA or otherwise. Wondering who the cheapest FFL in the area is to go through? I know some people charge $100+ for online orders that they fascilitate....anyone know of for sure prices? There's tons of gun shops in this area (SBR is like 500yd from where i'm staying right now) and so i'm hoping some good old fair market competition will help me out.

Just to ease the minds of those who dont read posts fully...will be buying from an FFL out of state, not a private party, and having that gun shipped to an FFL here in Sacramento for the paperwork. Nothing CA illegal, just dont feel like paying CA prices. Last time i was out there, even adding $100 transfer fee would still make things around 40-50% off CA prices for the guns i'm interested in.

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

Call the gun range I've heard great things about their prices on these types of transfers.

The Gun Range at Watt and I80 is $25 for the transfer fee. Be *sure* the FFL who is sending a firearm to CA signs up for and uses the CA DOJ CFLC website. They must include a DOJ approval form in the package with the firearm.

Quick Link - GO TO CFLC What is the California Firearms Licensee Check System (CFLC)? California Penal Code Section 27555 prohibits all Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), other than Type 03 or 06 FFLs, from shipping firearms to a FFL in California unless, prior to delivery, the FFL intending to deliver, sell or transfer the firearms obtains a verification approval number from the California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms. This includes transfers that occur at gun shows. The CFLC system validates a California FFL’s active status against the California Centralized List.
