Handgun PPT and New Handgun Purchase Same Day

Am I legally allowed to complete this transaction on one DROS at the same LGS/FFL?

    1. PPT of a handgun from a private seller (1 in 30 NA)
    2. New handgun purchase at LGS/FFL (1in 30 applies)

Does the 1 in 30 begin on the day the DROS is put into the computer or the day that I pick the handgun up after 10 day wait?

if I understand your question correctly, yes you can PPT a handgun, and purchase a new one (1 in 30) during the same day, hopefully the same FFL.

One in 30 starts the day of the DROS, not pick up.

No, each firearm is done on its own DROS, but there is only one DROS fee for any number of firearms done at the same time, regardless of the type of transaction. So you are allowed to submit two DROS at the same time at the FFL.

You can do it at different FFLs, but then it would not be limited to one DROS fee.

On the DROS, there is the 30 day date/time listed, after that is when you can in theory submit another DROS. I have heard that there have been issues when it crosses the time change.
