When is the last day to DROS a bullet button gun?

Is it 12/1/16 or 12/21/16?

I plan to stop shipping a few days before the cut off date to ensure guns can be processed. Either 11/21 is my last day to ship to CA or 12/12.

The firearm must be picked up by 12/31. Some dealers are not drosing that close to 12/21 to give a buffer.

So short answer if check with the dealer first or have the customer do so before shipping.

We are telling our customers to be sure that their guns arrive here at the store no later than 12-10 to insure they have time to get in for a DROS. If guns arrive after that day its not going to be our fault if you don't have time to get in to dros. We are super busy and stacked with appointments and are a week out at this point for our earliest appointment. We are saying the last day to DROS will be 12-20.

I'm noticing some stores are posting no DROS on BB guns after November is up.. they are not going by the 10 day period but the 30 day wait in case someone doesn't pick up their gun on the 10th day, they don't want to cut it that close is my guess.

The thought is that if a FFL can not sell it. It should not be in the store.

I wouldn't put it past DOJ to delay ever DROS started on 12-1-16.

That and some dealers don't want to be working late into new years eve trying to deliver firearms

After midnight Dec 31 those firearms will become unregistered assault weapons. We can not posses assault weapons in the shop as we do not have an AW permit.

I put 12/15. If customer doesn't pick up by 12/31 they will be made featureless.

Yes. I will scale down for a few months because I am seriously worn out. My liver probably destroyed form ibuprofen and my hands are locking up sooner every day. The last year has taken a toll on my family from all the work. I considered closing down but will stay open but work part time or until no one wants me anymore. I never expected to do this 7 days ax week and I have to get control again so clients can get better service.
