Buyer waited to long to pick up lowers, dros cancelled

I sold a guy two lowers, did paperwork and got a call a month later from FFL telling me to come pick them up because buyer waited too long to lick them up and dros was cancelled. FFL says I should just resell them that the buyer blew it. Buyer seems to think I can just meet him again somewhere else to start dros again, no "I'm sorry" or "my bad." Reselling them seems shady on the other hand buyer did drop the ball and now expects me to accommodate.

    Any advice?

Me personally as a Gunner I would do the sale again + gas money if that important and or just give him pesos back - gas and or time.
    That's just me.

$40 for your time if it's less than an hour. Dude blew it.

Buyer pays gas and the second transfer fee.

54 cents per mile(there and back) + money for your time + ffl fees.

Let me chime in with this also. Its really really important for you non FFLs who are doing these PPT's to get it in writing what the terms of the sale are between you and your buyer. Stuff like Should buyer fail NICS check seller will return 70% of the sales price or should seller fail to pick up firearms and additional transfer be required buyer shall pay for all costs related to the transfer and cost of travel not less than whatever $ you think is fair.

Cover your A out there people. Its so much easier to get it all in writing up front. Now if you're selling to a friend or family sure probably not necessary to get this but when you sell in an online marketplace where you don't know each other its better to do what I suggested.

I've said similar multiple times. Go to ugimports.com and look at right hand side. There's a link you can use for one as a template. I'm on my phone otherwise I'd post direct link. I think it's called ppt template.

Eta use it if you are the buyer or seller. Sign before you hand over money so there is no confusion. Bring 2 copies and both sign both.
