South City Pawn used to be right on Grand Avenue, but they recently moved a couple blocks off of Grand, right down near Airport Boulevard. Dave is my North Peninsula go-to.

You might also ask about prices at Jackson Arms (just north of Costco by the airport; not sure if they take shipped transfers) or Peninsula Guns and Tactical (on El Camino in San Bruno). You've also got Coyote Point Armory and Brian Nussbaum down in Burlingame. I'm pretty sure City Arms (Pacifica) doesn't do transfers at all. Sorry, no personal experience with anyone but South City Pawn.

I've done FFL with S.City Pawn, Jackson Arms and Peninsula Guns & Tactical at different times.

Peninsula Guns & Tactical charged me the most.

Service at South City Pawn is less than desirable (forgot his name but he is Chinese). He was rather rude because he does not want to file paperwork after 5:00 PM even though I called ahead. Luckily, the older lady was there and told him she gave me the permission. My recommendation is to call ahead. Price was reasonable as I recall.

I did most of the transfer at Jackson Arms. They've no issue with handguns but "iffy" on rifles. Most likely rifles takes too much room in their safe. Do call ahead to ask for the best day/ time for FFL.

Hope this help. Too bad Tabors is no longer in business.

P.S. Good to know City Arms doesn't do FFL.
