I'm looking to purchase a Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec online, and the dealer lists the model as "PB9108LP". From what I have seen, every single 1911 model number on the Springfield website has a "P" at the end.

Here's the rub: the same handgun on the CA roster has a model number as "PB9108L" without the "P" at the end. The same goes for all the other Springfield 1911 models on the roster.

Is this going to cause an issue with the FFL when I do the transfer? I know that the same model is sold in CA, I just don't know if there is a CA-specific model# and a non-CA model number despite the fact that the guns are EXACTLY the same.

The "P" designation denotes package and is not a factor when determining if the handgun is listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.
