    I'm a new FFL how do I record A PPT transfer in my A&D book?

      Ok thanks and as far as the 4473 only the buyer and the ffl fills anything out?

        I have one more question about the A&D book when entering a springfield xd do you have to enter any special way since its imported? Would glock be the same?

          Correct, only the FFL and the buyer fills out the 4473. You can note in the comment field that it is a PPT, but it really isn't required for CA. The seller also has to sign the DROS.

          The bound book lists the manufacturer and/or importer, but it seems that they like to have both.

          Glock is the manufacturer, as well as the importer, although it is really two different companies, so only one needs to be listed. If the importer is a different name, then I would list it after the manufacturer, separated by a "/".
