IWI GALIL ACE SAR off list rifle?

I only see appendix A showing this as a banned rifle:

The new Galils show this on the receiver

Is that enough of a difference to be considered off list and legal to transfer in Ca once it is converted with compliance parts?

I'm expecting a large shipment next week so I need to know if CA residents can DROS them.

It is not an IMI and it is not a Galil. It is an IWI Galil ACE SAR. IWI-USA lists it as a Galil ACE. Not a Galil.

I would think so.

I had a har dtime shipping Walther .22 rifles in because the receiver showed something like IWi UZI or IMI UZI. I can;t remember off hand. Some FFLs allowed it and some did not. It was not even made by IWI or IMI. It was made by Walther and the manufactuer name was Walther but sinc ethe gun had UZI and either IMI or IWI on the side it was a coin toss on being accepted by Ca FFLs.

Even the IWI UZI pistols that came out a few years ago were accepted or not depending on the FFL. I would have to pull one out of the safe to see what is marked on the receiver.

Issue with the pistols is they said Uzi Pistol on them if I remember right.

Attorney Jason Davis just told me they are not the same as what is listed as CA PC and should be entered into DROS as a Galil ACE. I am shipping these into CA.

I could pay for an opinion letter but it is not cheap. When he told me I thought he meant $5.50. I was way off. Once I get enough sold I will use the profits to buy the letter.
