Dear Friend,

I to am greatly saddened by recent shooting events and pry for not only the victim's, but their families, the first responders who witnessed the tragedy first hand and their families. I denounce the violence, as any sane person would do. But I do not blame the tool that was used, any more than I blame you for the violence perpetrated daily in (insert city), your home town.

You are always welcome in my home and I hope you visit soon. However I will follow your wishes and cease communication with you. May God bless you and your family.
